PEW-1000/PEW-1200 Pressure Sensor

The WIKA PEW-1000 and PEW-1200 pressure sensors are based on radio waves designed for monitoring liquids and gases. The sensor utilizes license-free LoRaWAN® and Bluetooth® radio licenses and is commonly used in mobile equipment and remote measuring points. Thanks to intelligent measurement and transmission control, along with a replaceable battery, the sensor can be used for years without maintenance.

Low operating costs through intelligent measurement control Due to intelligent configuration, measurement and transmission intervals can be adjusted depending on the measured value. The sensor can also perform frequent measurements without transmitting every single data point. This ensures high security with low data and energy consumption. All data is digitally available in a cost-efficient manner and can be analyzed through automated processes.

Easy integration through various wireless standards for digital radio With numerous process connections and the availability of two licenses – LoRaWAN® for long-range and Bluetooth® for short-range communication – the pressure sensor can be flexibly configured. Numerous application possibilities – including retrofitting Through retrofitting, machines or moving parts can be intelligently configured without the need for planning and documenting cable routing. Significant cost savings can be achieved, especially when continuous measurement is not required.

Built robustly for continuous, reliable pressure measurement, the WIKA PEW-1000 and PEW-1200 are designed to be robust and shock-resistant. With an IP65 rating, it is well-protected against dust and splashing water. The battery is pre-installed and can be easily replaced without replacing the entire pressure sensor.

Risk reduction through condition monitoring The sensor enables easy monitoring of the condition. In addition to the pressure value, temperature indication reveals any early signs of malfunctions due to wear or system errors, thereby minimizing the risk of downtime and damage.
