Shipping & Returns

After you ordered your product at GMS Instruments, our service doesn’t stop there. With numerous packages leaving our warehouse daily we see quite some delivery addresses pass by. We try to handle every shipment with the best possible service. This means we always will try with the buyer to reach an agreement on how to deliver as soon as possible. No matter if the shipping address is in Rotterdam or Rio de Janeiro, Dubai or Singapore. Shipments within the Rotterdam port area will be delivered by our own delivery service. Addresses outside this area will be handled by 3rd party shipment companies. This will always be in consolidation with the purchaser.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship globally. Delivery times and methods of shipment will always be consultation with the customer. Potential shipping cost will therefore be disclosed in your order acknowledgement. Ask our Sales Representatives for the possibilities for shipment to your location of choice.

Shipments within the Netherlands and with a total maximum shipping weight of 30kgs actual or dimension weight will be charged at € 13,75. Shipments to a foreign country and in excess of 30kgs actual or dimension weight will be charged at nett transport costs. Hazardous substances are only transportable via road transport and are charged at nett transportation cost.


Retruns & Refunds

You received the wrong item, it’s damaged or you’re not content with the delivered goods? All common things that could happen when you order an instrument. Our RMA (return merchandise authorization) is simple. Follow all steps on our return form and you will be contacted about your request.

You can return up to 30 days from the time you receive your package. Returns must be in original condition, unused with original tags, labels and documentation, placed in the original packaging. Your return item(s) will be inspected upon arrival at our warehouse before your refund will be processed. Our Customer Service will inform you within five business days after receiving the return form and package, on the matter if the returned items are accepted or not.

Emergency delivery needed? At GMS Instruments we can support you with urgent deliveries with our own vehicles throughout the whole of Europe. If a courier brings to mutch ‘but what if’s’ we take matters in our own hands to make sure your process will not be stalled. Our latest delivery? Departure in Rotterdam, picked-up an AMOT valve in the UK and delivered in Klaipeda Lithuania within 72 hours.
