The Chalwyn PVX pneumatic spring return butterfly valve uses a spring return rotary actuator. It is available in two basic versions. - Air pressure to close / spring return open on loss of air pressure
Both versions are designed to work with direct pressure operation in either automatic or manual systems.
Features
- For use in automatic or manual shutdown systems
- Operating pressure range 43.5 to 116psig (3 to 8bar)
- Slim-fit 3”, 5”, and 8” (76mm, 127mm, and 203mm) valve body
- Basic flange mount with hose adaptors available (1½” to 8” | 38 to 203mm)
- Valve bodies and discs are PTFE coated hard-anodized aluminium
- The shaft and mechanisms are stainless steel
